IKVANSHU
PROJECT ICHCHHA
Ichchha was designed to foster the holistic development of marginalized students through after-school programs that focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, and essential 21st-century skills, while also enhancing math and literacy outcomes. By bridging the education-to-employment gap, Ichchha prepared students for the workforce with practical skills and knowledge. Beyond academics, the program provides a supportive environment, empowering students to overcome barriers and break the cycle of poverty.
The initiative has made a significant impact by:
-
Enhancing students' SEL, leadership, and 21st century skills preparing them to navigate complex social and emotional challenges.
-
Providing academic support in math and literacy to over 350 students.
-
Raising over 9 lakhs to offer scholarships and support services to underprivileged students.
-
Engaging 150+ volunteers and partnering with 50+ organizations to deliver impactful education.
By offering a safe, nurturing space for learning and growth, Ichchha helped students gain the skills they need to thrive, both academically and socially.
In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ikvanshu paused this project and shifted its focus to community-centered initiatives.
